To move to a full RIBO Unrestricted registration, it is mandatory that employment as an unrestricted broker be obtained within 12 months of passing the RIBO exam. This can be done by finding an employer that is a member of RIBO. Alternatively, a student can write an RIBO Equivalency exam to remove the restricted registration.
